14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible

An epic journey

The film explores Nepal’s deep connection to high-altitude mountaineering through Nims’ eyes as part of his Project Possible quest. The previous record is just shy of eight years. With a team of skilled Sherpas, Nimsdai traverses Mount Everest, K2, and other iconic peaks through extreme weather, life-or-death decisions, and the emotional weight of his mother’s illness back home.

Featuring more than 100 hours of footage shot by Nimsdai and his team, the film is a breath-taking journey that gives a truly unique view into life on the Big Mountains.

The 14/7 Challenge took place across April to October 2019, Starting with Nimsdai summiting Annapurna in Nepal on April 23rd and ending with the summit of Shishapangma in China on October 29th.

Into the Death Zone

All 14 peaks are above 8,000m, this is known as the ‘Death Zone’ – this is because at that altitude the pressure of oxygen isn’t sufficient to sustain human life for an extended period. Travelling cross Nepal, Pakistan and China with the team, 14 Peaks is a thrilling, action-packed story about courage, perseverance, and pushing the limits of human endurance.

Mission Complete

Nimsdai said that standing on the summit of Shishapangma having completed his mission was an ‘incredible feeling’. He said: “It was a victory for everyone. For everyone that has a dream, for everyone that wants to go above and beyond. I wanted my 14 Peaks Challenge to inspire people with the love of the Big Mountains, but more than that, I want everyone to know that if you set your mind to something you can achieve it - no matter who you are and where you come from.
